To start the “green” month of March out right we decided to get some greens in our diet to boost brain power.
Coming straight from Parents magazine‘s March issue (page 58) I added some spinach to our dinner with a goal of twice a week adding any of the other suggested items (eggs, kiwi, corn, spinach, kale or zucchini) for our brains.
Just look at that toddler eating his greens! Then mommy added some green to her salmon cake dinner… YUM!
You don’t have to be Popeye to enjoy some brain-boosting foods this month. Try a variety of the ones mentioned above in different recipes like egg salad, or zucchini bread to get those minds moving in March!
